Korry Jones is a native to Arkansas County, and still resides in south east Arkansas in Monticello with her husband and four-year-old daughter. She is a self-taught multi media artist that specializes in watercolor and unique resin art. She offers a special talent to her customers as she is a live painting artist as well, performing most commonly for weddings and 1st birthday parties.
While she did study art all four years of high school, she regretfully did not continue her art degree in college. She studied communications and biology and went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She rediscovered her love to create in 2020 while creating a small watercolor piece as a gift for a family member. After posting to social media it started a snowball effect of nonstop commission work.
She was able to resign from her position as a dental hygienist in May of 2021 and since then she has painted ‘live’ weddings throughout the state continuously along with attending many art art and home shows. She continues to work on custom commission pieces while also continuing to work on pieces that reflect her bright and airy style as an artist. Some of her signature pieces consist of light and bright watercolor abstracts, large acrylic abstracts, classic chinoiserie florals, colorful mallard ducks, and her personal favorite, the large split butterfly pieces that showcase her high gloss resin pieces.
Korry's advice to couples is to prepare EVERYTHING ahead of time so that you can truly take in and enjoy THE DAY OF your wedding.

Korry is the kindest soul that you'll ever meet. We met at the Arkansas Democrat Bridal Show in 2020 and I became an instant fan of her artistry. As a wedding planner, I cannot stress enough how priceless her talent is and what a genuine keepsake her live paintings are. I actually have had her do commission work since meeting her and her work always amazes me and exceeds expectation. Her art just makes you happy and I think the reason for this is Korry's joy truly radiates through her paintbrush. I was looking for a perfect wedding gift for my son and future daughter-in-law. I am so thankful that I came across Korry. From my initial message asking for info to the completed product, she was the sweetest. She traveled a pretty good distance to come to the wedding. We looked at different areas of the venue for her to work from. We came up with a perfect and best seat in the house. She painted diligently throughout the ceremony and presented me with the most perfect gift for the newlyweds that night.
